Nutrition Center

The Troy Nutrition Program is designed to offer hot nutritious meals five days per week along with a variety of other nutrition and supportive services.  The Troy Nutrition Center and its Aging Programs are a department within the City of Troy that is administered under contract with the South Central Alabama Development Commission Area Agency on Aging.

The center provides a wide range of social, educational, recreational and cultural services that assist seniors in improving their quality of life. All persons 60+ are encouraged to participate. The center is a place where seniors can meet, volunteer, become self-advocates and enjoy their favorite activities. The center staff is dedicated to improving the lives of older individuals living in Pike County.

Mission Statement

The Troy Nutrition Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality recreational, social and supportive services to mature adults. It is our goal to foster a warm environment where individuals can explore and enjoy activities and services designed to meet the needs and enrich the lives of our diverse older adult population.
