The Troy Planning Commission is a nine-member board eight of which are appointed by the Mayor for a six-year term. One is appointed by the City Council and serves for the term of the council. This group is charged with developing and adopting the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Troy, as well as monitoring a zoning plan.
The Planning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public and are held at Troy City Hall, in the Council Chambers, at 306 E. Academy Street.

PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the city of Troy and all other persons of interest that the regular meeting of the Troy Planning Commission is scheduled on Thursday, January 28, 2016, 4:00 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, Troy City Hall, located at 301 Charles W. Meeks Avenue, Troy, Alabama. Items on the agenda include the review and approval of the minutes, an administrative extension of preliminary plat approval request, election of officers, the annual report, and committee & departmental reports.
