Citation Instructions and Information

There are two types of citations:

1. A court mandated citation
2. A non-court citation in which you can plead guilty by signing the right side of the citation and remitting the correct amount to us in the mail then you are not required to show in court.

You may pay non-court citations as follows:

NO PERSONAL CHECKS are accepted. Sign the bottom right side of your citation as noted and mail payment in full. Send a money order or cashier’s check through the mail. DO NOT MAIL CASH. If you wish to receive a receipt include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Again, NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be taken.

Pay in Person: 300 Elm Street, Troy, AL
You can pay in person at the Municipal Court window. Partial payments are not accepted unless you come to court and the Judge allows it.
