Please join us in Downtown Troy for the City of Troy's Annual Christmas Parade on Monday, December 7, 2026!

The Christmas Parade starts at 7:00 PM CST on Monday, December 7, 2026. There will be a tree lighting ceremony and pictures with Santa on the Square following the parade.

Due to safety reasons, the Parade Line-up is limited to the first 100 entries. Organizations/Participants are limited to one vehicle entry (ie. one float, vehicle, or other). Walkers are allowed as or with the entry. Entries over 13 tons are not permitted.

This year’s Christmas parade theme is America at Christmas: 250 Years of Courage & Celebration. All parade entries must be received by Noon on Monday, November 30, 2026.  You should receive your line-up number by December 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM, if you have not received your line-up number,  please call us at (334) 670-2283.

PLEASE DECORATE YOUR PARADE ENTRY FOR CHRISTMAS

Elm Street will be one-way after 6:00 PM on the day of the parade. To come to line up, enter Elm Street from either George Wallace or Academy Street due to  Elm Street being "one-way" beginning at 6PM. NO through-traffic will be allowed, please use Walnut Street / Library for necessary drop-offs. Please do not come to line-up or start lining up until after 6:00 PM.  We would like every entry in place in the line-up  by 6:30 PM; therefore, please come to line-up before that time.

Please turn off headlights during the parade procession. NO THROWING CANDY OR OTHER ITEMS.  This will be STRICTLY ENFORCED!!  We would like to discourage you having a Santa on your entry to keep confusion down for the kids.  There is a Santa at the end of the parade for the children. Please be careful. All persons riding floats or moving vehicles must stay on the float or vehicle until the end of the parade where unloading is permitted (Troy Public Library).

The route will start on Elm Street and follow Elm Street to the square.  The parade will turn left at Oak Street and travel around the Square backwards turning right onto Three Notch. The parade will then will turn right onto E. Walnut Street and end at the Troy Public Library.
