Some City of Troy offices will begin reopening tomorrow, Monday, May 11th with modified operations. Citizens will be asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines. A detailed list of operations is listed below:
City Hall (Utilities) will be reopened to the public from 8am–5pm each day.
In addition to in person service, utility bills may still be paid:

-By drop box located at the drive thru - checks or money order only.

City Hall (Human Resources, Planning & Zoning, Business Licenses and Inspections)
All offices are open to the public on Monday, May 11 at 8am. They may also be reached over phone by calling 334-566-0177.
The Police Department lobby will be open to the public from 8am – 5p and limited services will be available. Only one person will be allowed in the Police Department lobby at a time.
The Fire Department lobby will remain closed to the public.
Troy Parks and Recreation
The Recreation Center of Troy Parks and Recreation will resume regular daily hours beginning Monday, May 11 at 5 am, and will observe guidelines and requirements set forth by Gov. Kay Ivey’s announcement of Friday, May 8, 2020.
In this limited, phased re-opening, customers will be able to utilize the Fitness Center and indoor Walking Track, while all other aspects of the facility will not reopen immediately, but are expected to open soon.
As required in her announcement, please be aware of the following:
-Customers are expected to maintain a six-feet distance from other customers.
-Every-other treadmill and arc trainer (elliptical) will be turned off allowing six feet between working machines.
-Child Watch will be closed and not available at the Rec Center.
-All basketball, racquetball, swimming pools and programs are not opening on Monday, but will open in the near future.
-All locker and shower rooms will be locked and unavailable.
-All customers are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing.
-All customers will be asked to use the provided hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving the Recreation Center.
-Customers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and avoid the use of water fountains.
-TPRD staff will be conducting regular cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment.
Gov. Ivey also announced that there is information to be released within a week concerning the reintroduction of youth baseball and softball for this summer. Until then, her office requires that team sports may not practice or play games until that restriction is lifted.
Her announcement also included that all playgrounds have not reopened as of this time.
The Library will reopen at 9am on Monday, May 11th with the following modified hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.
-Please continue to use social distancing while at the library
-Use the Outdoor or Indoor book drops to return material.
The Municipal Court lobby will be open to receive payments Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

City Council will be held on May 12th, 2020 at 5pm in the Council Chambers. Work session preceding at 4:30pm Council, staff, and members of the public will follow guidelines of social distancing.
