TROY – The Troy City Council accepted the recommendation from the engineering firm CDG, Inc. to award the Enzor Road Connector Project to Grady Ralls & Sons, Inc. at a special called Council Meeting on October 21.
The Enzor Road Connector Project includes 2.4 miles of new road construction. George Wallace Drive will be extended to Enzor Road and Franklin Drive will extend to Oak Park connecting to Highway 87/167.
“This is the next step in the process of bringing the largest road infrastructure project to fruition in the City’s history. There is still much work to be done and I am appreciative of everyone involved in this project. This is a great day for the City of Troy,” said Mayor Jason A. Reeves.
The total cost of the project is $7,775,020.28. Road construction is expected to begin immediately and is projected to be completed by November 30, 2016.
