Welcome to Troy!

Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, we invite you to explore all our city has to offer, from our historical and thriving downtown shopping area and Troy University, the second largest university in the state of Alabama, to the beautiful Troy-Pike Cultural Arts Center.  Our city is world renown because of the international status of Troy University; however, it is noted throughout  the South for having wonderful  people and a great  quality of life—clean, fresh air, an abundance of arts and culture, and recreational activities for people of all ages.

Troy is centrally located off U.S. Hwy. 231 between North Alabama and the Gulf Coast beaches, and we have a mild, year-round climate. We have so much to offer our residents as well as our guests. You must see the Pike Pioneer Museum, the Johnson Center for the Arts, and Troy University while visiting our community. Let us wrap you in our southern charm.

You’ll want to stay in our affordable hotels and enjoy our friendly, hometown hospitality. You’ll be surprised to find out just how much our city has to offer. And always remember, Troy is a wonderful place to live, work and to visit!
