Ceramics
The Colley Senior Complex offers an ongoing open ceramics program. The Ceramic Lab is open every day and a staff person will be available if you have questions. Our center has a variety of molds to pour at a reasonable cost. Also, we make periodic trips to ceramic stores to purchase greenware or bisque. All ceramic hobbyists are welcomed. We will be teaching a Beginning Ceramics class each week.

Crochet
We are hooked on crochet at the Colley Senior Complex. Volunteer instructor Mary Turner will guide you on the art of crochet. We offer a class for those who want to learn crocheting. We also offer a wonderful opportunity for those who already crochet to come together to share ideas and conversation with others in our group.

Painting
A treasure to the Colley Senior Complex, Mary Page has been the art instructor for several years. Her art studio is open 5 days a week, and Mary will provide one-on-one instruction on how to paint. We use acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media. Come join us and discover your hidden talent.

Pottery
This class teaches the fundamentals of pottery. From dinnerware, to vases, to statues, these pottery students have the ability to make anything with clay. Specialty includes earthenware and stoneware. Class is 6-weeks long and runs year-round. Pottery lab is open every day for students to work on their projects outside of class.

Quilting
The Colley Senior Complex quilters are working Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 9-11 AM. This group of dedicated ladies will quilt any size or type of quilt for the general public. They are so popular and do such beautiful quilting; there is a year’s waiting list for their services.

Sewing
Sewing lab is open each day and the Colley Senior Complex sewers make beautiful and unique items. From handmade baby dolls to purses, these ladies can sew anything. They even sew costumes for the Mardi Gras Magic Ball upon request and for a fee.

Shirt Painting
In this class, you will learn how to create a masterpiece from ordinary shirts. Using patterns or through your own creativity, you will make beautiful painted shirts. Using fabric paints, this class is easy to learn, and the possibilities are endless.

Smocking
Want to learn how to smock? Improve your smocking skills? Chat about constructing a smocked garment? Anything smocking related is welcome here from the beginner to the advanced. We have pleaters for your use.

Stained Glass
If you’re interested in learning the art of stained glass, we teach beginning and advanced workshops. Quickly becoming one of our most popular classes, students have organized class time and then time to spend in stained glass lab to continue their projects.
